Black Business Orlando (BBO) began as an online forum for business owners to connect and promote their endeavors.  It grew beyond what was expected into the huge community of 20,000+ professionals. It’s incredible that this number continues to grow every day. There is such a huge need for businesses and patrons alike to find, locate, and support Black Businesses in our local area. BBO has strived to create a platform that facilitates visibility, education and growth amongst our community. We find fun and dynamic ways to create spaces where professionals can network and expand their reach! Since 2014 we have captivated Orlando’s professionals with great opportunities!

We have made our impact in the community through our business spotlights and interviews. Connected with local media outlets to highlight black businesses as well as the issues our businesses are facing. We have tackled current challenges that business owners were facing and bringing awareness through our Town Halls. We have host many mixers and workshops and also put on our annual event “The Summit.” Our annual Summit is a great event where black professionals and entrepreneurs have come to rely on BBO to deliver content and spaces for their benefit and growth.  Our goal is to provide resources to our network so that local black business owners can create, grow and scale thus creating a power economic base for black business in Orlando.
